Division 3 – Effective Round 5
• Start with 0 balls/0 strikes
• Walks – bring the tee out after 4 balls
• Ball used – 11 inch hard
• Ball used off tee – 11 inch hard. Infielders, especially the pitcher, must field further back than the pitching mat when hit off the tee. Coaches can agree to use the softer ball if they like due to safety concerns (both coaches must agree).
• Other – all other normal softball rules apply. A reminder that there needs to be an attempt to avoid the pitched ball (ie move out of the way), for the “hit by pitched ball” rule to apply.
