Our story
MWSA was established on 15 July 1971 as the Manly Warringah Women’s Softball Association. The first season ran from 9 October - 11 December 1971.
In 1976, our name was changed to Manly Warringah Softball Association.
Also in 1976, three of our teams first competed in the State Championships.
Since then, MWSA has not only competed but been extremely successful in many State Championships.
MWSA has a proud history which now spans over 50 years and is an active proponent of community sport on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. We a not-for-profit association run entirely by volunteers.
