The Manning Valley Hockey Association Primary School Social Competition commences with a Muster night on Thursday 12th October at 4:30pm

Open to participants from Years 3 to 6 the emphasis of our 2023  Social competition is on introducing new players to the game while also allowing our current players to continue to connect with team mates and maintain skills during the winter off season in a relaxed, social environment.

More importantly it's about being Active, playing hockey and having lots of fun!

• Games will be played in a half field format with teams of 7 and modified rules. 
• Players can form a team or players can register individually and will be placed in a team. (players will be sorted into teams on the first week of play) . Please note teams are to be of mixed gender and have no more than 3 representative players.

The Social comp will be run for Primary School aged children (Years 3 to 6) on Thursday afternoons with games starting from 4:30pm. (Please arrive by 4:15pm for team organisation and signing in)

The MVHA cost is just $20 for the entire 8 week competition.

• There is no extra cost for players who were Hockey NSW registered during 2023. (If you played outdoor you are covered) 
• MVHA invites all NEW PARTICIPANTS to participate. The cost for new participants is $20 plus a small Hockey NSW term 4 fee. See the information at the bottom of this page on how to obtain a Term 4 only registration. 

Sticks, and shin pads are supplied for new participants.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR NEW PARTICIPANTS

To register for the term 4 Primary School Social Hockey Event you must be a paid member of Hockey NSW. 

For New participants it is a 2 step registration Process. The first step involves processing a Term 4 Registration from Hockey NSW which is accessible from the below link. The second step is registering through our Event page as an individual into the Social Competition.
