REPRESENTATIVE SELECTIONS TRIALS 2018

OPEN MEN’S & WOMEN’S

In 2018 we want as many players as available to attend and take a positive approach to the selection trials and not only see the trials as a selection process but also a development and coaching opportunity for all players.

No player should assume that they will be selected or not be selected but more positively approach the selection trials as an opportunity to assess the current level of your game and receive some great advice from our highly qualified Representative Coaches and Selectors.

The Open Men’s & Women’s selection trials will be held at

The Taree Hockey Centre

Open Trial – Thursday May 10^th from 7.00pm to 8.30pm

All players are asked to attend approximately 10 minutes prior to the selection as a Personal Record form that must be completed prior to commencing the selection trials

The Open Mens State Championships will be held in

Moorebank from June 9^th.

The team Head Coach will be: Adam Birkefeld

The Open Womens State Championships will be held in

Macarthur from June 9^th.

The team Head Coach will be: Michelle Cheers

The team Manager will be: Narelle Salmon

IMPORTANT: Players cannot be considered for selection if you do not attend the formal trials or lodge an exemption request outlining clearly your reasons for seeking an exemption. Any player wishing to be considered for selection and who is unable to make the selection trial will need to submit a letter outlining your “reasonable excuse” for consideration by the selection panel. Any player unable to take part in all aspects of the selection process due to a medical reason must also advise prior to the selection trials and may be required to supply a medical certificate.
