Competition Update
The Summer State League is fast approaching a conclusion with only two rounds remaining before finals commence. All of our teams are in position to play finals, and it would be great to see as many members get down to watch semi finals in a couple of weeks time.
Our last club training session will be on the 3rd of April, and we will have a couple of weeks break before we start to prepare for the upcoming Winter Competition. More details will be provided in the coming weeks about the Winter Competition, including some changes to our training structure and expectations, a club social competition and the launch of a new merchandise store.
Come and watch the AWL with us!
This Saturday (19-March) MUPolo is proud to support the Vic Phoenix as they take on the UTS Balmain Tigers at MSAC. We are looking for a strong showing to support our local players as they take it to the Tigers.
The Phoenix are organising a local venue for supporters to celebrate with the teams after the games. MUPolo will cover the entry to the game, and first drink of any supporter who arrives in a MUPolo shirt. The women kick off proceedings at 6.30pm, followed by the men at 7.45pm.
Make sure you get down and watch what is sure to be a great night of water polo and for more information click the image below.
Laps for Life
This March for the third year we are participating in Laps for Life. Across the month of March, we are setting out to swim 300km to support Reach Out Australia as they provide life changing help for young people navigating mental ill-health.
The MUPolo team have smashed their $3,000 fundraising goal, raising over $5,000 in just over a week. Given this incredible effort, the team is upping their fundraising goal to $7,500. The team are also well on track to meet their lap goal, swimming nearly 100km in the first week!

O-Week & New Members
Thanks everyone for stopping by to see us at our Clubs Day Stall during O-Week! It was a fun day seeing all of the other MUSport Clubs come together to share our love for sport and meet new students. The day resulted in an excellent turn out at the Come & Try session held at Melbourne High School. We loved meeting all the new faces and are excited to welcome them to our club.
Our official Come & Try program has now concluded, so if you wish now to continue to train with our club and be invited to club events you will now need to join our club and pay a membership fee. Club Membership can be completed here. Please select the "Social Membership" Category and apply the discount code "UniMelb2122" if you are a current University of Melbourne student. When the next season of competition begins, your membership will be upgrade and additional fees for those competitions will apply.
Please note that membership fees do not include WPV/WPA capitation or match fees which are required to play in WPV competitions. The membership fee covers costs assoicated with club training (insurance, pool hire and equipment) and events.
If you were unable to make our Come & Try sessions, don't worry you haven't missed out! Please get in touch with the club via email to secretary@mupolo.com.au, or through Instagram/Facebook before you come along so we know to look out for you!
