Dear Members,
Over the past month a lot has changed in Melbourne and introduction of Stage 4 restrictions again changed the way we go about our daily lives. This time last year we were well underway in the 2019 State Championships, and fast approaching what was one of the highlights of the year in our first Pride Round!
At the start of the August, we sent out over 60 custom MUPolo face masks to our members as a special gift. The face masks, supplied by Delfina Sport, are a great way to help stay COVID Safe while getting out and about for your essential shopping and activity. We hope everyone has received their gift now and is making the most of them. We do have limited stock of masks available for $17.50 each (including postage) if you would like to purchase another for friends, family or yourself!
The start of August also has seen the start of our MUPolo MasterChef! Spruiked as an opportunity to unleash your competitive side from the safety of your home, the MasterChef competition is a great distraction from the lockdown conditions we have all become so familiar with.
Rules of the Game
- Check our Instagram page for the theme of the week.
- Cook up your dish whenever it suits you during the cooking period and send a photo of your masterpiece to us either via Email, Direct Message or Tag Us in your story on social media.
- All entries will go to public vote via Instagram after entries close.
- Winner takes all the pride and glory they deserve! They will also get to have their say on an upcoming theme!
You may submit as many entries per theme as you like and this is open to not only our members, but also friends and family in the community. If your housemate, partner or child has a hidden talent, snap it and send it in! We would love to see how everyone is going!
Congratulations to the winner of week one, Thao Phan with her signature dish - Bún Chả Giò. As I write this article, voting is underway for the second round, and we look forward to announcing the winner in coming days along with the theme for Round 3. The entries I have seen so far have been fantastic, and we would love you all to have a go and send something in! It doesn't have to be extravagant, or every week, but if it gets you away from that boring meat and veg for a meal surely its worth a go!
Over the next few weeks we will be starting up a few exciting things in the works for you all. We would also love to hear from you and what you have been up to during recently. We love seeing your updates on Instagram and please continue to reach out and tag us if you have something to share!
