Melbourne University Water Polo Club will be holding its Annual General Meeting at Prince Alfred Hotel, Carlton, Saturday 10 July 2021 from 4:00pm. The event is free to attend, however, we ask that you please register your attendance so we have a guide as to numbers for the venue’s COVID-19 compliance.

The AGM will start at 4:30pm SHARP, with social drinks to follow. All club members are welcome and encouraged to attend to elect your committee for the 2021/22 seasons and help celebrate the past year (and a bit, plus a global pandemic) that has gone by.
All committee positions are available for election this year, and we will be running things slightly differently to what we have in the past. On Saturday, we will be electing a committee of up to eight members. The committee will then coordinate their first committee meeting and amongst the group, determine who will fill the roles of Club President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and General Committee.
All our committee roles are flexible in nature and while they include the day to day running of the club -- such as liaison with Water Polo Victoria and Melbourne University Sport, pool bookings, team entries and coordination of coaches -- there are many further opportunities to be involved with the club, including ones which we haven’t even thought of yet. So please if you feel passionately about how the club is run and managed, or have some great ideas, do not be afraid to nominate yourself, including if you are unable to attend on the day.
