MUPolo are calling for Expressions of Interest for players wishing to play in the WPV Autumn competition in 2024.

This year WPV will be a single competition during the winter period. The competition will be 6 rounds in length.

The club's focus for the Autumn and Winter competitions is a social environment - playing with friends, welcoming new members to the club, and learning the sport. This focus will shift for the Summer competition, when teams will be selected with a view of a more competitive focus.

 

Competition Details

The competition will commence in the week beginning 20 May 2024, and run for 6 rounds (May & June). 

Melbourne University will enter teams suitable for the players who express interest. The Club's preference is to enter all gender/mixed teams, in order to promote the social aspects of water polo during the winter period.

Eligibility

Members must be registered and financial with both the Melbourne University Water Polo Club and Water Polo Victoria/Australia to be eligible to play in this formal competition.

Costs

• Match Fees - $125* (includes all training and competiton costs)

* New members will be required to pay an additional WPA capitation fee for insurance purposes of approx. $75. WPV will be waiving their component of capitation fees for this season.  Refer to the fee structure for further information.
