The UniSport NationaThe UniSport Nationals provide an opportunity for students at 43 member universities from across Australia to compete head to head in a number of national standard sporting competitions. 

The University of Melbourne has not be represented in Water Polo since 2019 so this is a fantastic opportunity to once again compete against other university students from across the country.

Uni Nationals will be held on the Gold Coast, Queensland, from the 23rd to 29th of September. The week is a tournament based competition culminating with finals at the end of the week. At this stage, the club is managing an EOI process to gain interest and understand capability of players interested for consideration by UniMelb as to whether a team will be sent.

Any University of Melbourne Students who are enrolled in any study period in 2023 are eligible to play and will be expected to fund their own cost of the trip. The total cost is expected to been around $1200-1500 for flights, UniMelb accommodation package, and registration fees.

We are hopeful to send both a men's and women's team - please submit your nomination for selection if you are interested and able to attend Uni Nationals and you will be contacted with more information.

Please also forward this to other members of the water polo community who may be UniMelb students although not playing with our club.
