MUPolo are calling for Expressions of Interest for players wishing to play in the WPV Winter Competitoin in 2022. EOIs are required now so that teams, coaches and trainings can be coordinated for training recommencing at the end of April. 

Competition Details

The competition will commence in the week beginning the 16 May 2022, and run for 11-12 rounds including finals. Finals will be held in the week beginning 15 August 2022.

There will be a two week mid-season break between 25 June and 16 July to align with school holidays.

Proposed Teams

Melbourne University will endeavour to enter teams most appropriate for all players who express interest.

Pending numbers, the club envisages entering the following teams:

Women	Men
State League 1	State League 1
State League 2	State League 2 or 3
State League 3	State League 5

There is an expectation that club members who wish to play in the clubs top teams attending both the club skills and swimming training sessions. Selection sessions will be held across the first few Sundays of May.

Eligibility

Members must be registered Competition Members to be eligible to play in this competition.

All other membership categories will need to have their membership upgraded to Competition Member and pay the applicable upgrade fees. This includes capitation fees to Water Polo Victoria & Water Polo Australia to be eligible to play in this formal competition.

The following fee components must be paid in order to play in this competition as per our club Fee Structure.

Winter Comp Match Fees	$230 approx.	$230 approx.
