The 70th Bribie Cup Yacht Race is organised and hosted by the Queensland Cruising Yacht Club Inc. with the assistance of Bribie Island Sailing Club. MYCQ support the race and use it as one of our Mixed Series races counting towards the MYCQ Club Championship.

The race is open to owners of eligible self-righting monohull yachts and multihull yachts from any yacht club. The race will commence on Saturday 18th September starting from 10am depending on division. The race will be set on a course starting at Shorncliffe, past the Redcliffe Jetty, past Scarborough Point, to Deception Bay Red Beacon to the Lighted South Cardinal Beacon, Bribie Passage and finishing in the proximity of the Bongaree jetty at Bribie Island. The presentation of trophies to all winners will be held on the foreshore of Bribie Island at the completion of the race.

It is recommended that multihulls stay the night in Shorncliffe, Scarborough or Bribie Island and participate in the Interclub Challenge Race on Sunday 19th September.

Race documentaion can be found on the QCYC website and is attached to this registration page. Race entry fees should be paid directly to QCYC along with registration.These are $40 for the Bribie Cup and $30 for the Interclub Challenge Race. 

Vessels wanting to use the race towards the MYCQ Club Championship should also register below and pay $10 for MYCQ event costs.

The points for the best 4 events in the MYCQ Mixed Series count for each boat.

The best 2 of the 3 series (Bay, Ocean Mixed) then count for each boat to give a final score. The final scores are used to determine club champion. All results are based on PHS.
