- Warm-Up from 12:15
- Partner Draw 12:50 - Unlike our regular Relay Day, you will not need to find a partner, a partner draw will take place and you will be allocated a partner.
- Competition commences 1:00pm. Competition order Hammer, Shot Put, Discus, Javelin, Weight Throw. Scores will not be alloacted for athletes who do not complete all 5 events.
- Competitor numbers will be capped at 20 athletes
- Event will be age graded and point scored so a more level playing field
- Athletes must be aged 14 and above. (Do not need to be a registered club athlete but will need to show some level of proficiency in throwing a hammer/weight)
- All athletes will have 3 attempts with each implement.
- Dresscode is... dress to match your shoes…
- $15 entry per athlete
- And to make it a little bit more interesting, we've added our own Mulgrave Twist... a handicap option!
- Before the partner draw is done, each athlete has the option to handicap an athlete or two. This will be done in secret, athletes will not know who has applied a handicap to them. Handicaps will involve adding points or taking points from an athletes final score (2500 points maximum)
- Participants will be able to buy points for or against another athlete. Careful though, this will be done before the draw, you wouldn't want to handicap your partner!
- $10.00 = 1000 points / $7.50 = 750 points / $5.00 = 500 points / $2.50 = 250 points
- Handicaps will not be revealed until presentation on Sunday.
