Mudgee DIstrict Hockey is affiliated with Lithgow Hockey Association. Lithgow Hockey are  planning to send representative teams to the various state championships and are calling for nominations for players, coaches and managers for all age groups ( Under 11, 13, 15, 18s , Open male and female and Masters Women) .  Information on the dates and locations of State Championship carnivals for the various age groups can be found at https://www.hockeynsw.com.au/latest-news/2021-field-state-championships-announcement/  .  

It would be great to see Mudgee and Lithgow players playing representative hockey together. U11 main carnival would be held in Tamworth and is known as the Kim Small Shield. This is a fantastic carnival that involves skills and games. 
 U13 and U15 teams will be in Division 3 and is a great starting point for developing players. This division is mainly played on grass, unless weather issues arise. 
U18 team will be in Division 2 for girls and Division 3 for Boys.
Open teams are in division 1. 
Women's masters teams are currently in div 1 for over 35s and  div 2 for over 45s. It would be great also to have teams go away in different age groups and players from both Lithgow and Mudgee in these Teams.
This is a great opportunity for Mudgee players to be involved in representative hockey.  We would encourage as many members as possible to take part-  it is a great way to develop hockey skills, have a lot of fun and form friendships with people from all over NSW.
