Who We Are

Melbourne University Dragon Boat Club (MUDBC) is the only university-affiliated dragon boat club in Australia, and welcomes students and non-students from all backgrounds to train together and compete in one of the fastest growing water sports in the world. Competing in both local and international regattas, MUDBC is comprised of members looking for a high level of competition, as well as those who just want to exercise and socialise in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

With no previous sporting background or level of fitness required, affordable fees, and a student-friendly training schedule, here at MUDBC we prioritise your wellbeing first, and take steps to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all our club members.

MUDBC also organises plenty of other social activities such as team dinners, karaoke nights, and club get-togethers. Come and try 3 free sessions at any of our Sunday training sessions for a chance to meet our friendly club members and dedicated committee, as well as learn more about this exciting sport.
