Pathways

There are a range of opportunities to paddle at different levels - recreation, racing at local regattas, Victorian championships national and international championships. Our club has the expertise to support your dragon boat journey - whatever that may be.

We are guided by the Dragon Boat Victoria - Pathways and Australian Dragon Boat Federation Paddler Pathway.

Victorian Regional Team -  Mount Beauty has had representatives in the VRT every year since 2018. This is a great way to test your abilities and go the next step.

Auroras – National Team – Our Head Coach Lisa Smallbone has represented Australia at two World Championships Kunming, China 2017 and Pattaya, Thailand 2019. There are opportunities to step up and try out for the National Team. We have the skills and expertise to support paddlers who may wish to follow this pathway.
