Social Sailing has been inroduced into the Sailing Calendar to allow boats that, may prefer not to race, or may not have achieved Australian Sailing Safety Category 4, to sail in company.

There is no fee, formal start, finish, time-keeping nor prizes. A timemto meet and a simple bay course may be suggested for those boats wishing to follow. Boats should be appropriately insured.

Sunday Social Sailing (SSS) and Wednesday Social Sailing (WSS) are non-racing events.
