This event, designed to promote and develop women’s sailing, is now an annual regatta to provide female sailors with a chance to escape the cold and enjoy some short-course “around the buoys” fleet racing in Mooloolaba.
Over the past couple of years, MYC has a strong interest in promoting women’s development in sailing, and we are looking forward to sharing our idyllic sailing venue with an enthusiastic, like minded group of female sailors. This regatta is open to female sailors from all clubs who wish to form their own teams (typically of 3 or 4) to sail on our club Elliott 6m sailboats. We have 8 places available, so gather together a group of sailing friends and come join us for some fun in the sun!
Even if you have not finalised your crew, send us an expression of interest so we know you are keen. Individuals keen to sail – let us know and we will put you in touch with a team that may be needing just one more crew member!
