Season 1 grand finals took place on Saturday and Maccabi had 2 teams face off against their opponents in thrilling and action packed games. 

U12 Warriors

Coach by Brad Rosen, the team took on Newtown Yowles in the U12 Div 2 Grand Final. Warriors dominated the game and were determined to prove that they were the champions. 

Final score saw Warriors win 44-24 leaving no doubt that they truly deserved the title of Grand Final winners! 

A huge well done to the team and manager Sharon Filler for their incredible commitment throughout the season.

U18 Blazers 

Coach by PJ Lane , the team took on Newtown in the U18 Div 1 Grand Final. It was an epic game which saw everyone at the edge of their seats the entire 40 minutes.  

With 1 second to go, Blazers coming from behind scored the final bucket, securing their well deserved place as Grand Final winners! Final score 46-45

A huge well done to the team and manager Tessa Rohald for an unforgettable win and season. 

With season 2 starting this weekend, we wish all our teams a great season ahead.
