LEARN TO SAIL CAMP (YOUTH)

The Learn to Sail Camp is designed for youngsters between the ages of 8 and 13 who would like to learn to sail how to sail a boat.

The course will consist of four levels, with each level taking 4 days to complete.
Please ensure you select the correct level when registering. 

 

• Level 1    My introduction to sailing   

• Level 2    Building my knowledge   

• Level 3    Getting to know my boat   

• Level 4    Improving my skills

Time spent at this level will provide the ability to

• Sail to all angles of the wind
• provide the ability to handle a boat on your own in +-8knots of wind with limited assistance.
• Capsizing Training is given
• Teaches basic skills of working the controls of a boat
• Completes the knowledge of the Sailing Circle
