The assistant instructors course is designed to equip youngsters with the necessary instructor skills so that they will be able to effectively help the Senior instructor in runnimg furutre corses for learn to sail candidates.

Their sailing skills will be assesed and instructional skill will be imparterd to the candidates.

They will then be evaluated before being appointed to the posts at the school.

This is a person who holds an SA Sailing  Learn to Sail level 4: Improving My Skills certificate

This person must be a competent sailor.

The Assistant Instructor is trained by a Senior Instructor, and may only train or assist training under the direct supervision of a Senior Instructor in the centre where they were trained.
