MHYC INFORMATION - Stella Maris Sailing Program Term 4 2024

The MHYC Discover Sailing Centre is pleased to welcome you to the Stella Maris Sailing Program 2024. 

Course cost is $482.00* for 7 weeks 

The MHYC Discover Sailing Centre abides by the Australian Sailing Instructor/Student ratios, hence places are strictly limited. All courses are subject to change with limited notice, based on demand and availability. To avoid disappointment, we recommend registering early.

Overview

OutThere Sailing 1 is a great introduction to the sport of sailing and the skills required but will still focus on fun with friends. The program provides a wide variety of on water activities that will introduce you to keelboat (5-6 person boat) sailing and, depending on your club, an opportunity to experience dinghy (1-2 person boat) sailing stand up paddle boarding, windsurfing and power boating. You will learn skills through exciting exercises and put them to good use in fun, on-water activities.

Prerequisites

Water confident.

Who should do this program?

This program is designed for participants who are 11-17 years-old looking to try a new activity, have some fun and engage with others whilst sailing.
