Come and take part in the fun at the Mersey Yacht Club (MYC) for their Open Day on Saturday 17 October. The event will kick off at midday with welcome speeches and will progress to a Parade of Sail at 1.15pm and then a spectacle of various yacht, power boat and other races beginning at 1.30pm.

Book your VIP spot aboard the Flag Ship for the day and observe all festivities from the spacious deck of The Julie Burgess and enjoy some light refreshments. The Julie will accompany the Parade and competitors until 3-3.30pm at which time you can disembark at the northern pontoon of the Mersey Yacht Club.

The MYC then welcomes all sailors to the bar for celebratory drinks with the competitors and will be offering a BBQ at about 4.30pm.

There are 6 VIP places available aboard the Julie Burgess and we will be joined by 6 other MYC and Devonport dignitaries. Cost is $35 per person.

Please note that this event may be cancelled due to unfit weather conditions but speeches will proceed and the MYC bar will be open.

If cancelled the full fee less 5% will be refunded if you have booked a VIP place.
