Sailing

Sailing at MYC is friendly but competitive, with an emphasis on participation for all levels of accomplishment. We have an inclusive Junior Sailing program that encourages young people to come and try sailing under the supervision of experienced members of the club. We also encourage all members, regardless of age, gender and ability, to attend one of our Come and Try Sailing Days during the summer.

We have several club boats available for members to use, as well as life jackets to keep them safe on the water. Find out more here: Club Boats

The club relies solely on volunteer labour in all aspects of its operation. All race sailors are required to volunteer for safety roles (3 race days per season). These roles are also open to non-sailing members who would like to participate in races. FInd out more here: Race Duty Roles
