Autumn Series Race 1 & 2

They turned up expecting some nice 10 kt winds. But in the end only 7 sailors took to the water in a spicy 15 to 20 kt south westerly. There was the Merricks' equivalent of match racing with two Melges, two Lasers and two Sabres going head to head, and Anthony and Carolyn racing themselves in their Explorer 16. Congratulations to Matt Darby taking out Race 1 and Doug Varey taking out Race 2. Remember!! Next Saturday we have the three race Labour Day Series starting 11am. Results can be found here
