Despite the disappointing news at the Curry Night that no one reads the website, we can report that a fleet of 14 enjoyed 'summer sailing' at MYC - with the associated cold weather and rain. The Laser fleet grew from one boat at 10am to four by the time racing started at 11am - showing the Laser motto is 'On time, never', still allows them to compete. But the early bird, Richard Jagger came #1 in both heats, as did Stewart Carter in Megles 737 (which unlike its aeronautical counterpart didn't lose any pieces) and Kris Symons in the Pacers, as did Rosemary Nolan in the Sabres. A careful examination of the results will reveal that among the classes, the only difference in ranking between the races was Tom Clarke who went from #3 to #2 between heats. The full results are here
