The annual Westernport Team Racing Regatta is being run again next Sunday, 6 January at Westernport YC. The event involves teams of 6 sailors (in 3 Pacer dinghies) competing against other teams in a 'round robin' event, across 3 divisions, as follows:

• Division A – experienced teams racers
• Division B – competent club racers with little teams racing experience
• Division C – novice teams racers

As in previous years, we plan to enter a number of teams of junior and adult sailors, across the 3 divisions.

The regatta will run from 09:00 (registration & briefing) until around 16:00. The entry fee is $10 per sailor.

Please let Tom know (juniorsailing@merricks.org) by Weds, 2 Jan, if you and/or any of your kids are interested in entering the Regatta. We’ll put together some teams and lodge the team entries to Westernport YC.

After the regatta, there will be a band (Daniel Champagne) playing at Westernport Yacht Club from 5pm – 8pm on the evening of January 6th (cover charge applies).
