You are all invited to attend an informal dinner meeting at the Club Sapphire in the Tasman room. 

Lisa Borthwick will lead the presentation of the MWD Member Engagement Plan.  

Please register your attendanced on Revsports EVENTS page so we know the numbers, a YES or NO would be good so we are not following people up. 

Please order your meal and drinks from the bar.  We will finish the session off with a bit of fun.

All members will receive a copy of the plan in the next few day.

Background/Introduction
In the second half of 2022, the Merimbula Water Dragons (MWD) Committee has been developing a member engagement
plan that identifies ways to actively involve all its members in the planning and implementation of six priority areas of
activity or objectives. The committee believes these objectives provide clear direction for our collective energies to
support the future success of the club locally and within the broader New South Wales and national dragon boating
fraternity.
A membership engagement plan provides every member with an opportunity to contribute in some way to the club’s
health and wellbeing, use skills they already have, develop news skills and interests, and generally help the club continue
to grow and evolve. It will also offer additional team building opportunities and provide members with a sense of shared
achievement. All activities will be approved and supported by the MWD Committee, as will any future changes to the plan.
The priority objectives have been identified by the MWD Committee as being key to the club’s ongoing success over
coming years and are central to its ability to grow both membership and competitive success.
They have been identified as not only important, but achievable, with the key being the active and committed input and
support of all club members. The member engagement plan provides MWD with a clear framework for success.
