We are always looking for new umpires to join our Club and develop their umpiring skills with the assistance of our dedicated Umpire Coordinators as well as the PNA pathway.

To start your umpiring journey you must complete the online Rules of Netball exam and receive at least 70% accuracy. Details are found in the below link from Netball Australia.

Once you have completed the online course, it is recommended that you register for one of the PNA umpire workshops for beginners which are held in the school holidays. Details can be found on the PNA website.

Once you have compeleted the above and registered your interest with Mercedes, we can then get you on court umpiring the year 7/8 year groups, who normally play at either 10.00am or 11.30am on a Saturday. Regular rostered times will grow confidence and our mentors will observe and give valuable feedback in relation to developing your skills.
