We're excited to welcome you to our SOFTBALL COME 'N TRY session.
We'll be at our clubrooms, located in the Northern Pavilion in Fawkner Park. Look for our flags and notices in the east end windows. You'll find us at the Toorak Road end of the park. If you have trouble finding us once at the park call 0402 051543 and speak to Elaine for directions.
The COME N TRY sessions are open to any female ages twelve (12) years and older, and of any skill or fitness level. Beginners to experienced individuals interested in trying softball at Fawkner Park are all welcome to join in.
All softball equipment will be provided but please feel free to bring along your own glove and/or bat if you have one. We suggest you wear clothes and footwear suitable to comforably do some physical activity.
Changeroom and toilet facilities will be available. We also suggest you bring a drink and cap/visor if the day is sunny. Which reminds me to mention the session will be on if there is light rain predicted or if ground conditions are wet due to earlier heavy rain. After all you are considering playing a winter outdoor sport.

Once you've had a go, and decided softball is for you from now until mid September please return to Melbourne Softball's website and at the left hand menu head to Metro League Information>Player/Official Registration If you're a player, over the age of sixteen, looking for a team we'll be back in touch to allocate you to a club that indicates they need additional players. If you are aged between 12 and 16 years you will be joining Fawkner Park Titans, our junior pathways team that competes in the B Division of Metrol League. See our website for further details.
Clubs have a pre-season training/welcome session on Sunday 30 April, and first games will be played on Sunday 7th May. and we hope to see YOU playing on the diamonds at Fawkner Park, where the focus is n FUN, FRIENDS and FITNESS in a GREAT ENVIRONMENT!
