An invitation to ALL MEMBERS and friends to join us for a BBQ brunch at Point Nepean National Park.

If you’d like to join the walkers, we’re meeting at the Portsea Pier at 10.00am (for regular walkers, note the later start time) and walking to the Point Nepean Quarantine Station, where we’ll be meeting at around 11am with members for a BBQ brunch.

If you’ve never joined us on a walk before, this is a great time to start!

Saturday 30th April – BBQ Brunch / Lunch at Point Nepean National Park combined with the next leg of the MCYS Bay Trail Walk

Members Roy and Jan Aldrich are available to set up the BBQ and act as hosts as members arrive at Point Nepean on 30th April.  Below is a picture of the picnic ground and bbq area.  It’s just in front of the Quarantine Station car park.   As you can see the BBQs are undercover and there’s two large tables also undercover – just in case it’s raining.

We’re combining the next leg of our MCYS Bay Trail Walk - PORTSEA PIER to POINT NEPEAN NATIONAL PARK at the Quarantine Station – with a BBQ brunch for all members.

If you’d prefer to drive in, meet us at the BBQs near the Quarantine Station / Information Centre carpark.  (Note: this is the second car park – not the old Information Centre near the entrance.)

Brunch is included (sausage in bread!) – so please RSVP for catering purposes and to let us know you’re coming!

YES I AM COMING TO THE BBQ BRUNCH

If you would like to have something more substantial on the BBQ - BYO meat and salads and drinks.

This is a great one for family members and friends to join – however as it’s a national park unfortunately no dogs are allowed (sorry to our regular four-legged walkers).
