In only his second game with the Golf Section, Haydn Parsons has scored his first hole in one.
The feat completed by knocking a gentle 6 iron onto the 155m par 3 7th at Commonwealth. When asked how it went, Haydn’s response was “Had a bit of a breeze behind my right shoulder, in my head I was thinking slight draw off the bunker and with the wind, should land middle of the green. Rarely do you draw it up and it works! Struck it so pure, slight draw off the bunker, pitched short of the hole, rolled up and dropped in!”
Well done Haydn and given how slick the greens were at Commonwealth, he is truly allowed to talk up his achievement.
