OutThere Sailing is the ideal way for teens (12-17 years) to have fun and get active on the water whilst:

  • Having fun while experiencing sailing.
  • Socialising with friends and making new ones.
  • Learning how to sail in an inclusive environment.
  • Developing life-long friendships and learning team skills.

The aim of the program is to have fun, spend time with friends and learn new skills. All our youth programs are delivered by qualified Australian Sailing Instructors. Mounts Bay Sailing Club will be able to expose teens to sailing in Pacer dinghies, windsurfing, SUP’s and powerboating!

All the equipment, including life jackets and boats, are provided.

Mounts Bay Sailing Club is situated in Crawley, near the University of WA,  only 5 kms from the City and easily accessed from Stirling Hwy.

During the registration process, you will be required to register for an Australian Sailing (AS) number which will redirect you to a page to do so, before proceeding to the course payment page. If you have any difficulties, please contact coaching@mbsc.com.au.

 


Overview
OutThere Sailing Experience sessions are all about having fun and getting a taste for on water activities. This action-packed program will give you the opportunity to try one or all the following, sailing, windsurfing, stand up paddle boarding, powerboating and keelboating. Depending on your club, experience sessions will be held over 2-4 hours.

Prerequisites

Water confident.

Who should do this experience?

This experience is designed for participants who are 12-17 years-old looking to try a new activity, have some fun and engage with other teenagers.

We recognise that some of our course participants are completing the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award and may be using sailing and/or club membership to complete one or more sections of The Award. To learn more, click here
