Over the last two months’ the Club has felt the rapid and unexpected impact of the COVID 19 restrictions. Not only has the Club lost all Event & Bar revenue during this continued shutdown period; but I now unfortunately have to inform you that last month the CLUB’S COOLROOM had a MECHANICAL BREAKDOWN. The Management Committee has taken the decision to replace it with a whole new unit rather than continue with ongoing costly maintenance.

The Club has implemented austerity measures to get the us through the COVID-19 crisis however we need your help.

The Beer has been running cold at Mounts Bay Sailing Club for 123 years and as the COVID-19 restrictions gradually lift the Club wants to ensure it can reboot the Bar & Function services as soon as it is safe to do so.

The Club understands many of you may also be facing challenging times during this crisis, but having a community hub will play an important role coming out of this crisis with family and friends able to catch up and work together in tough times.

The Club would like to offer you the opportunity to contribute to the new Coolroom.

We are offering a $50 Bar Card for every $100 contributed.

Once the Club re-opens with all restrictions lifted, you will be invited to celebrate the reopening and activate your Bar Card and once again enjoy tap beer flowing from the Bar.
