This course is designed to provide a safe and enjoyable introduction to Dinghy sailing for complete beginners. The course includes an introduction to fundamental boat handling skills and essential safety knowledge. Our Instructors will make sure you have a great time on the water learning to sail.

Mounts Bay Sailing Club is situated in Crawley, near the University of WA,  only 5 kms from the City and easily accessed from Stirling Hwy.

The course cost is $280 per sailor and includes 20 hours of tuition, full personal insurance cover issued by Australian Sailing, a ‘Start Sailing Pack’,  morning tea and a sausage sizzle lunch on the final day.

Who should do this course?

This course is designed for participants who wish to begin sailing in a dinghy. All the equipment and gear will be provided by your accredited Discover Sailing Centre.

Course Outcome

You will gain your Start Sailing 1 And Start Sailing 2 completion certificate.
