Join Us for Maroondah BMX Club’s Come and Try Day!

Calling all kids! Are you ready for an exciting day of thrills and adrenaline? Maroondah BMX Club invites you to our Come and Try Day, where you can experience the exhilarating sport of BMX biking firsthand! Whether you’re a seasoned rider or have never been on a bike before, this event is perfect for kids of all skill levels.

Join us on Sunday 30th March at our fantastic BMX track, where our friendly coaches will guide you through the basics of BMX biking. You’ll have the opportunity to ride on our safe and well-maintained track, practice your skills, and meet new friends who share your passion for adventure. We can provide some BMX bikes and helmets but feel free to bring your own bike too. 

This is a fantastic chance to discover BMX riding in a supportive and fun environment. Following our come and try day stick around and watch some racing by our experienced riders at our local clubby meet.

What is a Come and Try session?

Come and Try session give you the opportunity to try a club or discipline across BMX, mountain biking, track, cycle-cross or road under the guidance of experienced coaches. These sessions are run by clubs or AusCycling, and are generally free or a small cost.

No membership is required, and you be will covered with the same benefits as 4 Week Free Trial members when attending a Come and Try session.

Why Try a Club?

Clubs are a great way to meet new people, discover new routes, master your skills and improve your fitness by riding regularly. They also help support grassroots sport and ensure we get more people on bikes!

How do I join a Club?

You can try the club by attending a Come and Try session, there is no need to join a club or have a membership to start off with. After you attend the Come and Try session, you can take out a 4 Week Free Trial membership before you decide to join the club. More information on the AusCycling 4 Week Free Trial membership can be found here.

After your 4 Week Free Trial, you will need to purchase an AusCycling Lifestyle or Race membership to join your club (or multiple).
