Registered players attending their first Minkey Academy session will be given (to keep) a new stick, shin pads, playing top and mouth gaurd. Players will be greeted in a relaxed environment by experienced coaches who will also help new players and families navigate joining the hockey community.

Sessions every Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday:

Saturday 9-10am
Sunday 12-1pm
THURSDAY 4-5pm (Day changed)

Attend a minimum of 4 Minkey Academy events and players will be eligible to attend the Boomerang Graduation (Gala day) and after registration can join a team and play competition.

Players can come to 1 or all of the events if they wish. The available days and times can be varied from week to week to suit everyones busy lives. 

Hockey is a sport played equally by men and women across Australia and the world. Our junior competitions remain mixed right through until under 17s . Competitve hockey is enjoyed by players well into their 60s and 70s. Come to the Minkey Academy, start a sport and make new friends that will last a lifetime...
