Mandurah Hockey Club

Our Teams

Mandurah Hockey Club aims to nominate team/s across all age groups in Peel Hockey Competitions.

Our club is always looking for new players to join our teams. The number of teams we have in each competition is determined by the number of players registered before our team nominations are due.

 SENIOR TEAMS 

The senior competitions play traditional game format of 11-a-side including a goalie, currently there is only 1 x level of competition.

We nominate both a

  • Men’s team.
  • Women’s team.

Games are played on the weekends, predominantly Saturday afternoons, with some Sunday games, and the occasional Friday night games if double-up games are called for.  Games are played on turf at the Sporting Globe Stadium (Mandurah Hockey Stadium).

 JUNIOR TEAMS 

Junior competitions are based on School Year age Groups. All teams are mixed gender.

J 10-12 Competition

This competition age group play traditional game format of 11-a-side including a goalie.

Games are played on Monday nights, on turf at The Sporting Globe Stadium (Mandurah Hockey Stadium), Fuchsia Place, Halls Head.

J 7-9 Competition

This competition age group play traditional game format of 11-a-side including a goalie.

Games are played on Friday nights, on turf at The Sporting Globe Stadium (Mandurah Hockey Stadium), Fuchsia Place, Halls Head.

 J 5-6 Competition

This competition age group play traditional game format of 11-a-side including a goalie.

Games are played on Tuesday nights, on turf at The Sporting Globe Stadium (Mandurah Hockey Stadium), Fuchsia Place, Halls Head.

 

 

This Program is split into 2 x age groups based on school years. They play a modified game format with a pre-grame training session (1 sesson covers both, no additional night for training)

  • Year 3-4’s – Fields 7-a-side, no goalie (min 9 players required to provide subs)
    • Pre-game skills-based games & activities followed modified game format, played on half field.
  • Year 1-2’s – Fields 5-a-side, no goalie (min 7 players required to provide subs)
    • Pre-game skills-based games & activities followed modified game format, played on quarter field.

Tuesday afternoons 4pm to 5pm – Games played on grass on Peelwood Reserve, just outside The Sporting Globe Stadium. Games are played against other club teams
