The General Public is welcomed to Sailaway on Australia Day at Kinchant Dam from 10:00 am on 26th January 2023. 

The event is graciously sponsorred by the Mackay Regional Council and the Mackay Sailing Club.

All participants at Sailaway, if not club members, must register on Sailpass for the event (at no cost).

If you have an old sailing dinghy, you are most welcome to to give it a shake down. The club has a limited number of club boats available for general public use as well. A sausage sizzle will be available. Gold coin donations are welcome. 

 The event is subject to the weather and other safety concerns.
