Welcome Students to the La Trobe University Badminton Club 25/26 Season. This event is reserved exclusivelyfor students ONLY and will run alongside our Club's regular Saturday social.

Location: Heidelberg Badminton Centre (10 minutes walk from the Bundoora Campus)

Time: Saturday 15/03/2025 * 2.00 pm - 6.00 pm *

Fee: $10.00

Spots are limited, so registration to the event is necessary.

Payment must be made before attending. 

Student ID required for check-in purposes.

Basic Rules:

1. Check-in at the front counter. Remember to bring your student ID with you.
2. Warm up/ stretch off court, hop on for a few minutes hitting the (used) shuttles. Start game when all players are ready.
3. 21 points set. 2 points lead to win if draw. 30 points max.
4. Take turns getting on and off courts. DO NOT hoard the courts or JUMP from one court to another continuously. We will be watching/observing. We are always watching/observing.
5. Shuttles are provided, but use them sparingly. If they can still fly straight and plays well, they can still be played. Old shuttles must always be returned to the shuttle box. Check with the committee before taking new shuttles. 
6. Always be courteous and polite towards each other. There are players with varied skill levels present. Accommodate when possible. We are there to have fun.
