You don’t need a FIXED partner.
Players are free to make up their own doubles game.
Points are won after each rally and the game is 1 set played up to a minimum of 21 points with a winning margin of at least 2 points.
SHUTTLES
We have a tray with slots at Court 1 comprising of warm up and new shuttles.
To ensure the smooth running of games and minimise wastage:
- Take only one new and two warm up shuttles.
- Bring back all shuttles after your game and place them in the "Used Shuttles" box.
- If you require extra shuttles during a game, ask the Committee.
- Do not take shuttles from Used Shuttles box.
- Do not use new shuttles for warm up.

HOW ARE PLAYERS PAIRED UP ?
We currently do not schedule games for players. You are free to jump on court, or ask around to find a partner.
CAN I PLAY WITH SOMEONE I CHOOSE ?
You can request to be partnered with someone, but we cannot always guarantee it.
CAN I ONLY PLAY WITH PLAYERS OF MY LEVEL ?
As we are a social badminton club, we expect players to be open to playing games with players of all levels. If you find this unreasonable, then it is likely the club will not suit your needs.
HOW OFTEN WILL I GET TO PLAY ?
During most sessions, players will have to take turns sitting off. This means a 10-15 minute rest between each game is normal.
DO NOT stay on court after finishing a game, come off and let others have a chance to play.
