Role Description 

The key role of Team Manager is to provide a link between their allocated University Nationals team and La Trobe Sport. The role involves leading and organising a sport-specific team so that they can perform to the best of their ability whilst also ensuring a safe and enjoyable University Nationals experience for all participants. 

Roles and Responsibilities

Pre-Nationals

  • Organising selection trials
  • Complete team submission forms
  • Complete uniform forms
  • Circulate regular information to participants
  • Attend all Team Manager Meetings

During Nationals

  • Ensure all members are aware of team requirements including accommodation regulations
  • Set positive example for behavioural standards
  • Act as spokesperson for team
  • Notify La Trobe Sport of any incidents or injuries
