BEFORE Training:

- Arrive 5 minutes earlier for your training session
- Wear a full taekwondo uniform and a belt specifying your taekwondo grade
- Bow when entering the training hall
- Bow to the coach when you enter
- Take off shoes and socks before stepping on the training mat
- Sit on the mat quietly while waiting for the training to start
- If you arrive late to training, bow to the instructor and apologise before joining training
DURING Training:

- Vow the taekwondo spirit at the start and end of training; bow to each other
- Listen to the instructor carefully before performing any techniques
- Be patient and persistent in practising a technique
- Kihap yell when performing a kick, punch or block
- Sit and watch quietly until your turn to attend the sparring
- Approach/talk to the instructor if

- You are injured
- Need a rest/need a drink
- Leave training early

- Drink water and prepare your gear (if necessary) as quickly as you can during the break
AFTER Training:

- Leave the training hall immediately once the training is finished
- Take all the personal belongings and keep the training hall clean
- Bow when leaving the training hall
Personal Care

- No jewellery, watches, earrings to be worn during training
- Have hair tied up and tidy before training
- Keep toe and fingernails trimmed and clean
