This is our first official La Trobe University Ice Sports Club event for the figure skating discipline, Come Try Figure Skating!! 

In collaboration with IceHQ, our Figure Skating Team would love for you to join us and experience the joy of figure skating. We will be running drills, teaching you the basics of skating, edge work, jumps and spins. 

Our club welcomes skaters of all levels and backgrounds. 

We look forward to having you join us and becoming part of our awesome community !!!

The figure skating event finishes at 3pm, however you are welcome to continue practicing at the rink free of charge for the remainder of the public session. 

 

Feel free to bring your friends along, as new members are always encouraged. You don't need to be a La Trobe University student to attend this event however you must be over 18 years old.

Entry is $15 (25% off regular pricing) and includes a free drink. Tallboy & Moose Beers, Fizzers and soft drink options available. 
*Ticket must be purchased online by midnight the day before to receive a free drink.

 

Your ticket includes:

• Free hire of skates and helmets

• Experienced figure skating coaches

• Fun drills and games

• Social space in the rink bar after session

• Entry into the public session after the event finishes

• Hot food & drinks available for purchase*
   

The on-ice session runs for 1 hour, but kick-ons are in the upstairs bar afterwards!
