Be part of our management team for 2025!
For 2025, we are looking for some extra people to join our amazing volunteer team! We have a number of positions available, however please consider your own fit for the role. We will provide plenty of support and encouragement for you to succeed, however it does require your own set of skills and initiative. We've added expectations for how many hours per week/month we expect each role to take, please take this into consideration. We will contact you via regarding your submission. Funding Grant Officer (Time commitment: Avg. 2-3 hours when submission is due)
- Funding liaising with LTU, ensuring we meet bronze-, silver-, and gold-tier status
- Apply for government grants
- Find government grants to apply for (minimum 2 per year)
- Works closely with the Treasurer
Sponsorship / Fundraising (Time commitment: Avg. 1-2 hours per week)
- Fundraising twice a year, or once per hockey season (eg. Bunnings Sausage Sizzles)
- Sponsorship relationship with Steve + David from Sporting Globe, organising MVP awards for during the season and at the end of the season.
- Other sponsorship or minor funding avenues, eg. Grill’d Local Matters Program each year
Equipment Manager (Time commitment: avg. 2-3 hours a month + 2 gear hire days a year)
- Must be available to attend some Div 9 games (Saturdays)
- Organise LTU Storage Cage
- Create and maintain system for hire gear

Distribute and collect hire gear
Safety Officer (Time commitment: avg. 2-3 hours a month)
- Reduce risk for sexual harm, abuse, etc. within the club
- Ensure compliance regarding child safety etc.
- Respond to bullying, harrassment, or other complaints
General Volunteer Team (Time commitment: avg. 2-3 hours per event)
Event Assistance - we'd love a big team of volunteers that we can reach out to for event assistance. You don't need to be able to make every event, however we are aiming for everyone to be at a couple per year at least.
- Assisting with people putting gear on
- Chat with attendees, social engagement, check-in process
- Photos at the event
- Helping on the benches
- Teaching people skating skills
Figure Skating Coordinator (Time commitment: avg. 1-2 hours a week)
- Organising Figure Skating events
- Lead projects with other figure enthusiasts
