Good afternoon,
You are invited to attend the workshops that will be held on the 13th March and then participate in the day on the 14th March and have the opportunity to be assessed to gain your next level of accreditation.
Zeke Newman will be coming to Bathurst to support the event and share his knowledge with you.
Also if you are aware of any other umpires that intend on being involved in the 2021 season, they are also invited to attend the workshop on the Saturday. The workshop will be held in the Bathurst Clubhouse.
The umpires that attend the Saturday workshops are also required to attend on the Sunday to complete their training and will be assessed by the accreditors. It’s a great opportunity, so please make your best efforts to be involved.
Times:
Saturday – Arrive at 2pm to start the umpire course, you will complete this course by 5pm.
Sunday – arrive at 9.30am. You will then be allocated to games throughout the day. Games will be played from 10am till 4pm.
If you would like to attend the Umpire workshop please register to me via email by the 10th March. I will then send you the final details of times and how to register on HockeyEd.
The only cost involved is the HockeyED $50 fee that you pay online when you process your registration for the Level 1 Umpire accreditation.
If you are available for the workshops and not the game day please let me know and if you are not available for the workshops but would be interested in getting involved on the Sunday please also let me know as we can work around this for you.
Please let me know by the 10th March if you are able to umpire games on the Sunday – please also email secretarypremierleaguehockey@gmail.com
I look forward to hearing from you soon, thank you.
If you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to ask.
Regards,
Kate
