Just a reminder there is a Men’s hockey meeting scheduled for tonight, Tuesday the 6.4.21.

The meeting held on the 30.3.21 was a non-result with only 4 people in attendance.

This meeting will be the AGM for the coming season, at this meeting we will declare all positions vacant on the Men’s Working Party and vote in the committee for 2021. Based on information from the meeting held on the 23.3.21 we need to fill the position of Treasurer to give us a committee and allow our season to commence on the 17^th of April (less than 2 weeks).

I ask that all club persons ask around within their members to see if any one is keen to fill this or any other role. A failure to fill these roles may result in the comp not commencing on time OR not getting underway at all. With the current structure of LHA and electronic payment methods for registration etc these roles are less onerous then years gone past.

Other topics of discussion:

1. Club numbers and team lists – these are required ASAP so the electronic draws and playing cards can be generated.
2. Playing format – this season we must play ¼’s. See women’s proposed format below.

3. Finals format – what will out structure look like? We need to sort this out based on team numbers.
4. Training nominations for clubs – free training commences the week before comp kick off
5. Masters nominations 40/45’s – still need numbers – current numbers are insufficient to go. Note: venue is Tamworth from 30.4.21 to 2.5.21.

I have asked LHA for a current Registration list for 2021 so we know where each club is at. “No rego no play”.
