I hope all is well and everyone is staying safe, just a friendly remind of the below:

Social Distancing

This virus is still ongoing and we need to make sure we are doing all we can to prevent the spread. Social Distancing while spectating within or from outside hockey venues is one way we can do our part.

For venues, a reminder to keep re-enforcing this with your spectators via signage and P.A speaker announcements.

Spectators

We are continually re-enforcing the Governments recommendations when it comes to allowing 1 parents/guardian for children sports and attempting to minimise spectators for adult sport. We strongly recommend that venues allow 1 parent/guardian per child that plays adult sport (e.g a 15 year old playing a senior competition).

This is encouraging a child safe environment around your hockey complex as well as still obeying the Government regulations.

GK Equipment Hygiene

A reminder around the hygiene of GK equipment. Especially in junior competitions, the GK equipment may be shared, although this isn’t recommended if it is done the equipment must be cleaned and sanitised in an appropriate measure.
