Published Fri 17 Jul 2020

Hi all,

Hockey NSW and the NSW state government have advised changes to the requirements and protocols for the NHA/ Western Sydney Hockey Centre covid-19 safety plan.

As such the following changes have been made to the level C covid-19 safety plan.

· Exclusion of participants (including spectators and officials) if they have visited Victoria and/or one of the identified reported case location in the 14 days prior.

o These locations can be found at https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/latest-news-and-updates

· Spectator Limits - Under the updated advice from Hockey NSW and the NSW government the Western Sydney Hockey Centre is strongly encouraging where possible the following spectator limits.

o One caregiver or parent per junior player

o Non participant siblings only when absolutely necessary

o All other non participant spectators to be discouraged

o All non participants must adhere to the strict 1.5mtr social distancing requirements

· Get in, Play, Get out – We are encouraging all participants to exit the venue as soon as practical after the completion of there game. So in line with this we will longer be opening the bar as planned for senior games this weekend. The canteen will still be open.

· Attendance registers are extremely important and must be completed by all attendees to the venue. This is to be completed by either scanning the QR code or filling out the form at entry.

· Please also remember that if you feel unwell please stay home

It is incredibly important that the above changes are followed to ensure everyone’s safety and that the competition can proceed.
