The Leongatha Table Tennis club junior players are having some close matches

Samuel Ellen and Omaishia Miller had a tight three set game with Sam winning 15-13,7-11,11-9. Samuel then had another tight game against Charlie Collier, but Charlie was able to hold Samuel off winning 11-13,11-4,12-14. Charlie then played Japheth Short who looked like overcoming Charlie with his strong forehand smashes, but fell short at the last game going down 12-10,9-11,11-9.

Trent Beggs played Jemima Watson and Jemima has shown a lot of improvement since last season against Trent, who took out the Tammy Howerda aggregate shield last season, winning 11-9,11-7. 

Ryan Collier and Ben Watson battled it out with Ben wearing Ryan down winning 11-9,10-12,7-11. 

Shem Hogarth is a new player this year and had a great game against Charlie Collier winning 11-4,9-11,14-12.

Eligible families can apply for State Governments, Get Active Kids Vouchers Program, where $200 per student is provided free for them to play sport. This covers registration, weekly fees and equipment or uniforms. We are providing a free bat to players taking this offer up.
