I agree to be bound by the Racing Rules of World Sailing and the Sailing Instructions issued for this event.
DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
I acknowledge Rule 3, Decision to Race, which states that the sole responsibility to participate in a race or to continue racing is mine alone. I am solely responsible for the seaworthiness, sufficiency, adequacy and safety of my boat, equipment and crew. Any decision to sail in any race or in the regatta waters between races shall be my own. I hereby indemnify and hold harmless, the members, officers, servants or agents of Lake Cootharaba Sailing Club Inc. from all claims, costs and demands arising from acceptance of this entry and the participation of myself and my crew or my child, whether it be for death or personal injury, or damage to my boat and equipment, whether during a race or rescue operations or otherwise.
By entering this event I warrant that the entered boat(s) has(have) third party liability insurance cover of an amount of not less than AU$10,000,000 for the duration of the event. Although a competitor may be asked to provide evidence that they do have the required insurance cover, failure to ask for such evidence does not make the organising authority liable in any way. The organising authority will not accept any liability arising from a competitor falsely declaring that they have valid insurance cover.
